Abstract art inspired by shadows, forms and architecture. Hints of spaces, places and objects
Based in Wellington, New Zealand, I sell my art through galleries, via my website, and at exhibitions during the year.
With a background in industrial design and a fascination with architecture, I draw inspiration from the structural elements and geometric forms found in the built environment, and the hidden beauty that can be found there if you stop to really look. These influences show up in my paintings as a subtle nod to architectural compositions, incorporating lines, shapes, and proportions reminiscent of man-made structures. I don’t aim to replicate these forms in a literal sense. Instead, I use them as a starting point to convey memories, moods, and a sense of place.
