My painting was selected for this exhibition - a national art prize that is held annually in Wanaka and is also a fundraiser for Wanaka’s Holy Family Catholic School.

I almost didn’t post this, but I think it’s important to celebrate all wins, even the ones that are easy to dismiss - and besides that, I’m really proud of this new painting and that in itself is a good reason to celebrate!

A new series of (mostly) monochrome paintings exploring perceptions of space and form. I tried hard to keep it minimal, but just had to add small pops of colour!

A new series of small paintings and studies, exploring simplification, shadows and implied forms. Trying to find the right balance between minimalism and detail to suit my personality (easier said than done!).

I’m delighted to be part of an exhibition in Tasmania, Australia - ‘Orbit’ is curated by Tasmanian artist Paul Snell and is at the Poimena Gallery in Launceston from 11 March to 6 May. The exhibition includes artists from across the world. Here are some images, it’s a lovely exhibition, wish I could see it in person!
